Driver Theory Test
A new version of the Driver Theory Test came into effect on 30 May 2009. All new Study Material can be purchased on-line. The sixth edition book/cd-rom is required study material for anyone wishing to undertake the Driver Theory Test.
Note: A Theory Test Certificate must be obtained before a learner permit is granted. Participants must hold their learner permit for 6 months before they will be granted a date for the practical driving test.
The Theory Test exam covers areas such as:
- The rules of the road
- Risk perception
- Eco-driving
- Hazard awareness
- Good driving behaviour
